In a discussion on the inclusion of JFK in the upcoming Call of Duty game (something I knew/know nothing about, since I don't follow the games, but this discussion was being had by others and I chimed in) the following ridiculous, frustrating, saddening, angering exchange (more like an ownage session) (with someone I have never spoken to online prior to this) was had:

DeadCell: I find this extremely offensive considering how JFK was assassinated.

magx01: You have a very low offense threshold, apparently.  

DeadCell: Only when an American hero who died for his country is portrayed in this light. JFK was not a murderer, and he sure as hell wouldn't be murdering along side that Communist pig Castro. This needs to be banned.

The fact that you want to BAN it makes you an ahole in my books. Who are YOU to decide for others what entertainment they can and cannot enjoy? Don't like it? Don't play it. Being "offended" does not give you the right to dictate what other adults can and cannot play.

DeadCell: Have you ever read the Bible? God's word is law and other religions are false. They are one of the many ways He tests our faith. When our heart is devoid of God, we will follow almost any path...

Jesus, you're ignorant. There are plenty of nations today that are mostly atheistic, and completely secular. Not only that, they're healthier and happier than yours.

I already stated that God tests our faith in many ways, including other religions. The reason America is in bad shape is because we're becoming a GODLESS nation (as evidenced by this new "Call of Duty")

It really irks me that this is the level of thought possessed by what seems to be the majority, when it comes to these issues. I'm no genius or anything, but Jesus these people are fucking STUPID. It makes me simultaneously angry, and sad. It's so hard not to give in to my misanthropic leanings and just stew in hatred for humanity. I don't want to do that, but it's so fucking hard not to sometimes.

Does anyone else just get so fed up and saddened that they just want to like, I dunno, scream, cry, run away, commit suicide, beat the shit out of someone, commit worldwide genocide, curl up into the fetal position and never see the light of day again.....all at once?
